Powr of You (also known as Power of You) is a behavioral research company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We build tools like Via, Snapshot, and Qualify to track and analyze real-world consumer shopping behavior across e-commerce platforms.

Is Powr of You the same as Power of You?

Yes. Powr of You (powrofyou.co) is sometimes referred to as Power of You. Both names refer to the same behavioral research company.

What does the Via browser extension do?

Via is a Chrome browser extension that passively tracks shopping behavior across 15+ e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Tesco, Carrefour, and Bol.com. It is used by 18,000+ research participants.

What is Snapshot by Powr of You?

Snapshot is a B2B analytics platform providing brands and researchers with actionable consumer behavior insights from real-world shopping data.

Qualify is an AI-powered survey screening tool using OpenAI integration to match and qualify research participants quickly and accurately.

Powr of You® Ltd ("Powr of You", “PY Insights”, "we", "us" and/or "our") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. You have agreed to participate in a market research study, being conducted by our client, Dunnhumby Ltd. (“Client”, “client”).

This Terms of Use ("Policy"), along with Client’s Privacy Policy and any other documents referred to on it, sets out the basis on which any personal data, personally identifiable information and other data (collectively "Personal Information") that is collected and used by our Snapshot desktop browser extension (the "Service").

Your information is very important to us. It's key to what we do and without it, we don't work. So we take your privacy very seriously and are fully committed to protecting the Personal Information that you give us.

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 2018 (the "Act") and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data controller is the Client and the data processor is Powr of You Ltd registered in England under company number 08839843 and have its registered office at 58 St Gabriel’s Rd, Ground Floor, London NW2 4SA.

1. WHAT DOES THE SERVICE DO

The Service, with your permission, uses a desktop browser extension to collect your historic browsing data for up to 90 days, including activity on your desktop and mobile synced browser profiles, and sends to the Client in raw data format, identifiable to your profile with the Client (“the Purpose”).

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT WHEN YOU USE THE SERVICE

The Service provides the historic browsing data for up to 90 days from your desktop and mobile synced browser profile.

The data collected: website URL, timestamp of the visit, transition on how you got to the website, title of the website, tab identifier and a referring tab identifier at an individual level for your profile.

When you use the Service, we may also collect and use the browser name and version information from your computer or laptop device. This information is used for internal operations including troubleshooting and service improvement.

3. THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS

We use AWS Relational Database Service for license use tracking of our Service, in an effective way.

5. HOW WE USE INFORMATION WE RECEIVE

We send this data to the Client for the Purpose mentioned above. We may also use aggregate data for internal operations including troubleshooting, testing, or Service improvement.

We do not use your information for any other purpose outside of the Purpose mentioned above for the Client.

6. SHARING DISCLOSURE

We will be disclosing your browsing and behavioral information to the Client for the Purpose.

We may disclose your Personal Information to any law enforcement agency, court, regulator, government authority or other third party if required to do so by law or to (i) facilitate compliance with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Powr of You, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Services or the public, or (iv) protect and/or mitigate against legal liability.

We may disclose your Personal Information to any third party that purchases, or to which we transfer, all or substantially all of our assets and business. Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will require such third party to become a Data Controller for the purposes of the information and use reasonable efforts to ensure that the entity to which we transfer your Personal Information uses it in a manner that is consistent with this Policy.

We may share your Personal Information with any member of our group and/or the Client, which includes subsidiaries, ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries.

7. DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Yes. Please note that we may share the Personal Information and behavioral information you provide with the Client for the Purpose described in this Policy.

8. SECURITY

We want you to feel confident about using our Services and we are committed to protecting the Personal Information that we collect. We limit access to Personal Information about you to employees or consultants who reasonably need access to it to provide products or services to you, or in order to do their jobs, whether such employees or consultants are based in the EU or otherwise. We have appropriate technical and organizational measures in place to protect the Personal Information you provide to us against unauthorized or unlawful use and against accidental loss, damage or destruction.

We employ administrative and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Services; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

10. REWARDS

Any rewards mentioned for the use of the Service will be remitted to you by the Client.

Our Services may contain links to other websites which are outside our control and are not covered by this Policy. If you access other websites using the links provided, the operators of these websites may collect information from you which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours.

Our Services may also offer you the opportunity to share or follow information about our Services (or the products and/or services available through it) using third party social networking functionality (such as through "share this", "like" or "follow" buttons).

Please note that we do not endorse or control the policies or practices of any website to which we provide a link or any third-party social network whose functionality you may access through our Services. You should always read the privacy policy of any website you access or social network through which you share information carefully in order to understand their specific privacy and information usage practices.

12. DATA RETENTION

Please note that we may be required to retain certain information by law and/or for own legitimate business purposes.

We may hold data that you share with us for the period of the contract with the Client. The Client may also hold the data from the use of the Service according to their Privacy Policy. If you would like to delete your information from the parties, please contact the Client team at help@huyuapp.co.uk.

13. SAFETY OF MINORS

Our services are not intended for and may not be used by minors. “Minors” are individuals under the age of 16 (or under a higher age if permitted by the laws of their residence). Powr of You does not knowingly collect personal data from Minors or allow them to register. If it comes to our attention that we have collected personal data from a Minor, we may delete this information without notice. 14. CHANGES TO OUR POLICY

The Services and our business may change from time to time. As a result, at times it may be necessary for Powr of You to make changes to this Policy. This Policy may be updated or modified from time to time for any reason without prior notice.

Your continued use of the Services after any changes or revisions to this Policy shall indicate your agreement with the terms of such revised Policy. You are advised to consult this Policy regularly for any changes.

If you do not agree to these changes, please do not continue to use our Services.

15. YOUR RIGHTS

Some of you (in particular, European users) have certain legal rights to obtain information about whether we hold personal information about them, to access personal information we hold about them, and to obtain its correction, update, amendment or deletion in appropriate circumstances. Some of these rights may be subject to some exceptions or limitations. We will respond to your request to exercise these rights within a reasonable time (and in all cases within 30 days of receiving a request).

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The material displayed on this product is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we, other members of our group of companies and third parties connected to us hereby expressly exclude:

All conditions, warranties and other terms, which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.
Any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with this product or in connection with the use, inability to use, or results of the use of our product, any websites linked to it and any materials posted on it, including, without limitation any liability for loss of: income or revenue, business, profits or contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill, wasted management or office time, and for any other loss or damage of any kind, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable, provided that this condition shall not prevent claims for loss of or damage to your tangible property or any other claims for direct financial loss that are not excluded by any of the categories set out above.

This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, nor any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

17. CONSUMERS LEGAL RIGHTS

We acknowledge that the laws of certain jurisdictions provide legal rights to consumers that may not be overridden by contract or waived by those consumers. If you are such a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits any of those consumer rights.
